About Hermes LeBleu

I'm a motion designer and illustrator based in Barcelona. I make animated pieces, album artwork and visual systems — mostly for music, and mostly by hand before anything touches a computer.

Hermes LeBleu's motion graphics studio work

Most of my work starts on paper. Whether it ends up as a 3D campaign piece, a set of festival idents or a cut-paper sequence, the first pass is usually drawn, torn or cut by hand — then animated. That’s what keeps the work feeling made by someone rather than assembled from a template.

I work across the music industry and with brands that want something warmer than the usual motion design language: record labels, artists, festivals, and the agencies and studios that bring me in to handle animation and illustration.

Recent work includes a 3D animated campaign for La Española alongside Abuela Studio for Summa Branding, a cut-paper stop-motion piece built around the Pablo Hasél case and freedom of speech, and a family of hand-drawn animated lower thirds for a music festival’s live broadcast.

Based in Barcelona, working anywhere.
